Marianna is a graduate of this department (2017). She completed her MSc courses in “Applications of Molecular Biology” in the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, University of Thessaly (2018). Currently, she is a PhD candidate in the Laboratory of Plant and Environmental Biology, under the supervision of Associate Professor Kalliope Papadopoulou. Her scientific interests are focused in the field of plant molecular biology and biotechnology, with emphasis on plant-beneficial fungi interactions and plant transformation.
